Elements of experimentation and transformation found in the "serpent series" Inspired me to continue my venture with portraits, my work explores the Story of one's internal pathos. I use knife and brush dragging techniques on canvas; mostly acrylic but not limited to also work with gouache, watercolor, charcoal and oil pastels on paper. I used photography and inspiration from artists Mary Abbott, Chris Gambrell, Willem de Kooning, Carlos Almaraz, Miriam Beerman and Carlos Delgado.
